Garfield Campus: Friday, 6/18 – Geotechnical soil survey will take place at the acquired surrounding Garfield properties sites at 7:00 AM. Coring and hand auguring processes will result in minimal noise disruption to the surrounding area.
Verdugo Campus: Monday, 6/14 to Friday, 6/18 – Partial closure of Campus Way between the entrance at Lot F up to the Central Receiving loading dock for New Science Building Project Site sound wall barrier activities to take place from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Barriers and flag persons will be stationed in the area to ensure traffic safety and guide pass-through traffic; partial lane closures will impede traffic entering or exiting the campus.
Verdugo Campus: Monday, 4/26 – Partial closure of area between HS and AT buildings near the NSB Project site for utility trenching to take place for a duration of several weeks. Barricades and flag persons will be stationed on site to ensure traffic safety and guide pass-through traffic; there will be partial lane closures impeding traffic entering or exiting the campus.

Energy Conservation

Description

This is a series of projects to enhance the energy conservation programs on campus. As envisioned the project will include up-date/replacement of old outdated HVAC Systems, Replacement of various inefficient exterior windows (i.e. Administration building) with new energy-efficient multi-glazed windows, and the installation of a new centralized electronic HVAC control system.
