Maintenance Capital Projects – Project Update History
Status Update As of: 12/7/2020
- Installed new hot water tank for the Sierra Madre Building
- Repaired deteriorated concrete walls on upper east-side Tennis Courts
- Painted Health Science Building gutters
- Air balancing of the Sierra Vista Building completed
- Building Automation System (BAS) graphics completed for Sierra Vista, San Gabriel, and Administration buildings
- Installed Needle-Point Bi-Polar Ionization System (NBIS) for two air handlers in the Library Building (3rd and 4th floors)
- Installed a new hot water tank for the Sierra Madre Building
- Elevator upgrades for Administration, San Rafael, and Auditorium buildings completed; new interior walls and LED lighting installed
- Remodeled AD 249 for the Scholar’s Program and provided extra furniture to accommodate needs
- Installed 3 additional dual electrical vehicle charging stations in Lot C; Brings total charging stations on Verdugo Campus to 12
- Painted exterior east and south walls of the Administration Building
- Renovated and completed inspection of Auditorium Building elevator
- Painted and sealed west side of the Advanced Technology roof awning; repaired west side of gutters to prevent water penetration and leaks
- Installed 2 wall mount sinks with sensor faucets in the Verdugo Campus CDC Playground
- Rails installed for student safety at varying curb levels
- Exterior lighting provided for increased student safety
- Lift Maintenance hole covers to prevent rain water accumulation in vaults
- Installing chilled drinking fountains with bottle fillers throughout campus
